Country Farm Produce Sunnyvale

"I love this little shop.  I can be in n out in 5 minutes, the produce is fresher and cheaper than big stores, friendly staff that you can practice your spanish skills with, and you can usually park right out front.  What else do you want?

Also, with the safeway nearby closing, they have expanded to include dairy, more breads, and some frozen type meals.  But the produce is the star of the show and it is still just as good as ever." - Kevin

Michel Says: "My wife and I shop here on a regular basis.  Their produce is fresher and cheaper than the local grocery store or Sunnymount (another produce store in Sunnyvale).  The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful.  They have more varieties of apples, pears and mangoes than I've seen elsewhere.  There's rarely any wait at the checkout counter.

I only wish they carried a wider variety of herbs; their selection is pretty limited."

And Marina says: "I am going to have to stand up tall and defend this little produce place from any reviews lower than a 4 star.  This is a PRODUCE market...no offense so why would you be looking for anything else that is usually found in the grocery store.

The produce is fresh and tasty! They always have a great selection and always have awesome sales! When the charming little white paper signs outside read: "Blueberries 99 cents" let me tell you I high tail it over there to stock up (its usually 6 per family for some of their big specials) and 9 times out of ten you will get produce cheaper than the safeway across the street.

They are starting to expand their selection of herbs which is nice!  they have clearance overripe fruits and veggies which are excellent when making breads and homemade pasta sauce... the produce in the little bags is meant to be over ripe so don't complain about buying them in bulk and all of them being "soft" or "ugly"...its pretty plain to see when you look at them and feel them.

Its all about being observant. Like reading the sign that says "Credit cards are accepted with a purchase OVER $5".... or that Checks are not accepted...and as for the so called "obnoxious" spanish language that yes, usually is playing... I personally would much rather hear that than snooty remarks from ignorant customers who enjoy Muzaks grocery store version of Clear Channel radio variety. (does listening to Kelly Clarkson as you peruse the cabbage section really make that much of a difference?)

With that said.... My favorite produce place is cool and recommend it to those who like cheap produce and no nonsense, no frills atmosphere.... "

Priya Says: "We love going to this store coz all their produce is fresh and they have so many different varieties of fruit. Like their fresh salsa too. Their herbs are very fresh and green unlike most places. Can be a little pricey but I am not complaining."

Priti Says: "This is my favorite place for fresh produce. You don't have to pick and choose from thier veggies...it's all fresh. If u have been to an indian store and tried buying red onions...u would know what i mean!!!! The red onions are great and so are the others produce. They have these daily deals...in which u get bags of previous day produce for a lower price...i get some great deals there!!!
